Removing leaves promptly is essential for preventing lawn damage, mold growth, and clogged gutters. To be eligible for our leaf removal services, you must have an active lawn mowing account through November 1st.

In the following cities — Berkley, Birmingham (curb required), Clawson, Ferndale, Huntington Woods, Lathrup Village, Madison Heights, Oak Park, Pleasant Ridge, and Royal Oak — we are able to push unbagged leaves to the curb for city pickup. This is our preferred and most efficient method of leaf removal.

To sign up for leaf removal service, please review your city’s leaf pickup schedule on your municipality’s website and email us all curb pickup dates from November 3rd onward. Be sure to provide current-year dates, as some cities do not update their schedules until late October.

If your city does not accept unbagged leaves at the curb, please email us to request leaf removal with disposal. In this case, we will either haul the leaves to the dump or bag them for city collection, depending on what is most practical for your property.

Please note that hauling and/or bagging debris can be time-consuming and may increase overall costs.

We use a combination of commercial blowers, mower-mounted leaf plows, tarps, and rakes to complete your leaf removal in the most efficient way for your property. When conditions allow, we plan to visit your property up to three times throughout the season to complete leaf removal.

Pricing

Leaf removal is billed at $69 per man per hour, plus:

• $22 per square yard if we haul leaves to the dump, or
• $1 per bag if we bag leaves for city disposal.

The time and cost required to complete each property varies based on:

• Volume of fallen leaves
• Ground conditions
• Weather (wind, rain, or early snow)
• Yard layout and accessibility

Most jobs proceed efficiently, but not every property benefits from ideal conditions. Heavy leaf buildup, wet ground, or snow can significantly slow progress.

We begin leaf removal the first full week of November and aim to complete services by mid-December, weather permitting.

Your final lawn invoice must be paid on time, or we will not proceed with any further scheduled leaf removals.
