Standard Snow Removal

Snow removal is available from 15 Mile to 8 Mile – Greenfield/S Adams to Dequindre for residential lawn customers only – No exceptions. Spots will fill quickly and we do not have the capacity to service anyone not on the lawn route or outside of the snow service area listed above. Each snow removal service includes snow removal from all pavement on one driveway, all public sidewalks and two entrances per residence.  We do not offer snow removal services to commercial properties. Our snow removal service starts shortly after the snowfall event has stopped.

Standard lots of 1900 sqft of paved space or less = $50 per removal of 2-5in, $60 for 5-8in, $70 for 8in+. Large lots of 1901-2300 sq ft of paved space = $60 per removal of 2-5in, $70 for 5-8in, $80 for 8in+. We do not offer snow removal to properties over 2300 sq ft paved. We do not salt. We do not remove snow when less than 2 inches cover the majority of the pavement. If you want complete protection against ice you may want to shovel and/or salt snowfalls of < 2 in. yourself.

To enroll in snow removal services, you must reserve your spot with a $650 non-refundable deposit by 12/05. It will be credited to this year’s snow removal account only. If costs exceed the deposit you would be invoiced for costs over the deposit at the end of the winter. If snow removal costs this winter do not exceed your deposit, any remaining snow credit will be forfeited. Snow deposits must be paid in a way in which we do not incur fees (Cash, Check, Venmo, Zelle,).  We must collect a deposit because we are on-call throughout the winter which leaves us unable to keep other employment and our crews must be able to make a living. Snow removal services end the first day of spring, when equipment is winterized, placed in storage and crews dismissed.

We have a long history of reliable and timely service. Factors that influence when we will arrive include the depth of the snowfall, the time of day the snow falls, wind, forecasted temperatures, road conditions, and the timing of the next expected snowfall. We do our best to accommodate your needs and ask that because of the unpredictable/time sensitive nature of snow, please be understanding of the above variables.

The primary way we determine snow totals is by taking a measurement from the sidewalks at no less than three locations around our service area. We also reference the National Weather Services snow totals to see official measurements, but we rely primarily on our own measurements.
